Most of the work done painting the TAG was completely overshadow by the excessive dirt and grime I added over the top. The end result was a drab coloured mini, that just looked very brown-ish. Not at all inspiring.
I decided it needed to be fixed and with a quick coat of pale grey, I went to work on it again.
This is the original O-Yoroi. Very dirty, generic brown is taking over the miniature. The individual colours are getting lost. I just went overboard on the dirt.
Below is the new paint job on the O-Yoroi.
Still a strong orange, although slightly brighter. Extra offset colours added to make some pieces stand out. Added some blue to mix in with the overall army colours.
The main thing is this time I went with subtle damage. Luke is going for the idea of an escorted battle-worn TAG. This O-Yoroi has some armour chipping and a blown off hand, indicating it has definitely seen some action and is in some need of repair and assistance.
